Southern Orthopedic Specialists, P.A. operates and staffs its own, on-site extremity (arms, legs, hands and feet) Magnetic Resonance Imaging- MRI facility. MRI studies provide additional diagnostic information not available on x-rays, particularly for soft tissue, such as cartilage.

Southern Orthopedic Specialists, P.A. Phillips Scan unit is one of the most advanced units available. This on-site benefit makes it possible for our physicians to evaluate patient conditions then schedule an in-house MRI as quickly as the same or next day.
